Toviggino faces an accusation for the alleged undue retention of pension contributions and taxes, after the Revenue and Customs Agency (ARCA) reported AFA for the non-deposit of over 19 million pesos corresponding to pension contributions of club employees. Likewise, he was accused of Income Tax evasion, between March and December 2024. This Wednesday at noon he will present himself to declare, while he remains with the prohibition to leave the country as the investigation progresses. "We fall when we fail, when we are wrong, when we trust who we should not or when our own decisions do not give the expected result. But the fall does not define our story; what really defines it is the decision we make after," wrote Toviggino on his social networks. The message chosen by the AFA president's right-hand man, Claudio 'Chiqui' Tapia, linked the words of Bergoglio with the main values that he promulgated during his ecclesiastical life such as truth and justice: "Because in the end, we are not our falls.
